Get "Caveman" a LVAD Heart Pump

Donation protected
My dad, Butch Brown (Caveman), was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in 2006.  As a result, he has been in and out of the hospital for years.  All along, his heart's pumping function has declined dramatically to 15%, with the left side ventricle barely working now. He has trouble with breathing, performing regular daily activities, and is tired frequently.

On August 14, 2018, he traveled 250 miles away from his residence in Yuma, AZ to Tucson for a regular check-up.  The Lead Heart Team Coordinator with Banner Health met with dad to review the results.  It was recommended that he proceed with Open-Heart surgery IMMEDIATELY for a  Left Ventricle Assist Device 'LVAD' pump. Without this surgery, the heart doctor fully expects that dad's health would decline soon to the point of an emergency trip to the hospital.  In this event, he would not be in the required health condition to have LVAD surgery and could suffer major complications.

An appointment has been set for Butch and his wife, Linda, to travel to Banner Health in Tucson on August 30, 2018 to start the testing prep for LVAD surgery to be performed on September 4, 2018,  The surgery will require a hospital stay for up to 2 months, and for dad to live in Tucson close to the hospital for up to 4 months for therapy, maintenance,  and doctor's visits.

Butch and Linda are in URGENT need of funds for travel, gas, food, and housing for at least 4 months.  As Linda will be staying by his side throughout this difficult time and living away from home, she will lose her job.  This will put a further strain on them with not being able to meet their regular monthly bills for their home in Yuma, AZ.

As a retired Bedouin, Butch "Gary" Caveman, has been blessed in making friends all over the world.  Many of you have ridden side by side with him and know he is charismatic,  has the biggest laugh, a giving heart, and is a true brother.  Dad and Linda both are Christians and have a strong faith in God.  They trust that our Lord and Savior will provide them with everything they need.  Please take this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in helping meet their financial needs.  Let's keep Caveman's heart big and strong!

Every little bit you can contribute will help. God bless all of you!
