Unfortunately my uncle Pete has been given that blow that no one ever needs, wants or deserves and has heard those dreaded words "you have cancer", after being short of breath and tired off and on for a couple of weeks he ended up in the hospital and was told he had blood clots on his lungs for the second time, having been in this position before he and his family were ready to tackle the road to recovery again and get back to normal, spend time with their new granddaughter who had just gone on 8 weeks and enjoy the new chapter as a grandfather but the doctors had a hunch and called for further testing, investigations complete and bowel cancer was found with it spreading to his liver, he has had no symptoms or signs that this has been going on inside him making this even more of a shock to his family, He has a new grandaughter to watch grow, an elderly father in New Zealand to visit who has his own limitations for not being able to come visit here, a job he loves that he will have to take a lot of time off from for Chemotherapy and with a massive battle ahead there is the obvious of the financial strain this puts on someone, being able to help him get that precious time with his family here and in New Zealand and take some of the financial stress from him and my Aunty is my goal, my uncle is one of the kindest and most caring people I know, he would do anything for anyone, whether he knows you or not, if there is anyway you can help, even if it's only a few dollars it would be appreciated more than you can imagine.
