<div>Hi, my name is <strong>Patrick</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m 41 and currently <strong>homeless</strong> in the <strong>Orlando</strong>, Florida area.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Fixing my car got me back to work, but, I’m still <strong>homeless</strong> and trying to stay afloat day-to-day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now I’m sleeping on a friend’s couch and doing everything I can to get back on my feet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The biggest step forward recently is that my car is finally repaired.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The brake failure on my <em>2004 Toyota RAV4</em> left me unable to work and the total repair came out to just under $2,000.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My friend’s parents stepped in to help cover it, which I’m incredibly grateful for, but, that was a loan, not a gift, and I’m responsible for paying it back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of that, I’m now able to work again as a <strong>Dasher</strong> (food+retail delivery driver) for <strong>DoorDash</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s my only source of income right now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even with that progress, I’m still in a difficult position:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>I’m currently without stable housing</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>I’m repaying money borrowed from friends and family</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>I’m covering daily costs like gas, food and medication</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before my car broke down, I was able to make up to around $500 a week working consistently.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal now is to get back to that level and stabilize, but, I need help getting through this gap.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every donation goes directly toward:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Gas</strong>, so I can keep working
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Food</strong> and <strong>basic necessities</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Paying back</strong> the people who helped me when I had no options
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Working toward <strong>stable housing</strong> again
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Someone I’ve never even met</em> donated $200, which meant a lot and reminded me that people do care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I don’t take any of this lightly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re able to help in any way - whether donating or sharing this - it makes a difference for me right now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read this.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><strong>Regular Bills:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Suboxone (opioid addiction treatment) doctor:</strong> $200/month (I *think* I paid him in January, but, I’m way behind with him. That said, he knows everything that’s going on and is still working with me.)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Prescriptions: </strong>$150/month
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Gas</strong>: $140/week (I drive for DoorDash 7 days/week)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>uOwn</strong>: $20.39/week (13-month financing - $1,182.20 total - for my four vehicle tires)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Anytime Mailbox</strong>: $9.99/month
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- <strong>Public Storage unit</strong>: $31.00/month

<div>That’s most of my regular bills, but, surely not all.
