<div>Fixing my car got me back to work, but, I’m still <strong>homeless</strong> and trying to stay afloat day-to-day.

<div>Right now I’m sleeping on a friend’s couch and doing everything I can to get back on my feet.

<div>The biggest step forward recently is that my car is finally repaired. 
</div>

<div>The brake failure on my <em>2004 Toyota RAV4</em> left me unable to work and the total repair came out to just under $2,000.

</div>
<div>My friend’s parents stepped in to help cover it, which I’m incredibly grateful for, but, that was a loan, not a gift, and I’m responsible for paying it back. 
</div>

</div>
<div>Because of that, I’m now able to work again as a <strong>Dasher</strong> (food+retail delivery driver) for <strong>DoorDash</strong>. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s my only source of income right now. 
</div>

</div>
<div>Even with that progress, I’m still in a difficult position:

<div>- <strong>I’m currently without stable housing</strong>
</div>

<div>- <strong>I’m repaying money borrowed from friends and family</strong>

</div>
<div>- <strong>I’m covering daily costs like gas, food and medication</strong>

<div>Before my car broke down, I was able to make up to around $500 a week working consistently.

<div>My goal now is to get back to that level and stabilize, but, I need help getting through this gap.
