Joseph is a Canadian Army Veteran who answered a call to arms to fight for the people of Ukraine against an invading force. Knowing that he could help make a difference, he packed his things and left his loved ones and friends to go to a land he had no ties to and risk his life for others.
Joe as his friends all called him, is a strong and passionate man that believes in "The Right Thing to Do" and he did just that!
Over the last serval months, Joe was fighting with the Ukrainian Foreign Legion with a group of highly skilled warriors who were in the heat of a battle over the weekend with the Enemy, after winning the firefight, helping collect wounded, and treating the wounded an artillery strike devastated his team and killed Joe.
We are raising these funds to cover transportation costs and fees related to getting Joe home to return to his family where he belongs. All leftover funds will be placed in a Trust Fund for his daughter.
