Hello everyone, I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of a dear family friend, a kind-hearted grandmother who is in urgent need of support.

She has traveled from Ghana to the UK to visit her only son and meet her grandchildren. Unfortunately, things have not turned out as she had hoped. Her son, the only family she has in the UK, has refused to support or assist her in any way. This heartbreaking situation has left her feeling isolated, vulnerable, and without a stable support system.

Thankfully, myself as a close family friend has stepped in to offer her temporary shelter and emotional support. But with no income and limited means, she’s unable to afford the journey back home to Ghana—where she still has family.

We are asking for your help to raise funds for her return flight and basic travel expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help give her the chance to return to the familiar warmth of home, surrounded by those who truly care for her.
