<div>I am honoured and fortunate to play alongside amazing, hardworking, resilient women who push me every day to be the best I can. At Euros, they picked me up when we fell behind in the last group game and rallied to come back and win the game - and they got behind me again, without a single sign of doubt or hesitation, just a few hours later when I got back on the pitching mound to start the final against the Czechs.

<div>This is an exciting time for the whole team and we have been hard at work for the last 10 months to help us prepare - and we will carry on grinding until the very day we fly out to Taipei City.

<div>Which brings me to the ask I am making. The Women's team is not centrally funded and every trip, every training, every competition is funded by the players. Our operations manager works hard to keep costs down to help make sure no-one gets left behind for financial reasons. I have fortunately managed to cover my tournaments and trainings from savings for the last 5 years, but this will be the longest, furthest, and most important trip that we will have taken wearing our GB jerseys to date. Therefore, I am turning to my friends, family, and community to help me make what just a year ago felt like a pipe dream to reality.
