My father has been living in Thailand without insurance when he fell unwell with pneumonia. While there we acquired an awful bed sore that was not appropriately cared for. He got better from his original issue but ended up with sepsis and that is what caused his death. The hospital bills were so ridiculously expensive we could not pay and as is common knowledge over there if you can’t pay for the care you don’t receive it. He was neglected and left to slide downhill all the while the hospital only concentrated on asking for payment and not treating him. His life could so easily of been spared he was a fit and healthy ban apart from this one bed sore he acquired there in hospital. The same hospital is now saying they will not release his body to us his family until the medical bills have been paid for. He had no savings and neither do we as his family. We desperately need help to get his body released and sent back to us here in the UK
