Monica home to Kenya for family funeral

Our dear friend Monica's grandfather just passed away and her family in Kenya needs her and her father's presence so they can proceed with the funeral. Unfortunately, the travel costs (from LA and Minnesota) are too high for us to cover on such short notice. That's why we're reaching out; any amount at all will be a great help.
Monica is a friend who has always given much more than she ever expects to receive. She never asks for help. In fact, she doesn't even know that we are doing this. We're doing what we can to help her out because of the importance and urgency of this situation.
Her dad is now the eldest and leader of the family. Kenyan culture places a big burden on the eldest remaining family member. The family in Kenya is postponing the burial until they can make it home.
