Hey everyone! As many of you know my debut memoir, "I'll Be OK, It's Just a Hole in My Head " is coming out September 18, 2018 by Animal Media Group!
I'm very excited about this and want to take my book and my comedy on tour to YOU, the good people!
I am raising money to go take the book to Denver, Portland, Minneapolis, and Chicago with speaking engagements, comedy, and book signings! Here is a breakdown of estimated expenses that you can help with!
Denver, Colorado: September 15-22
LAUNCH PARTY!
Venue: ReCreative Denver $500
DJ: $150
Photographer: $150
Mac and Cheese Food Truck: $500
Stage Rental: $50
Brochure Printing: $50-$100
Decorations: $100-$200
Mimi and The Brain Swag (t-shirt, tote, mug giveaways): $100 or less
Hotel: $0
Flight: $190
ESTIMATED DENVER TOTAL: $1,940
Portland, Oregon: October (a long weekend)
Hotel: (Hopefully unnecessary if my buddies let me sleep on their floor!)
Food: $50 if I am being cheap!
Flight: ~$350
Commuting to and from bookings: $50 or carpool
ESTIMATED PORTLAND TOTAL: $450
Minneapolis, Minnesota: October
Hotel: Free, staying with friends
Food: $50 and anything my friends let me eat
Flight: ~$350
Commuting to and from bookings: $50 or carpool

Chicago, Illinois: October/November
Hotel: Free, staying with friends
Food: $50
Flight: ~$350
Commuting to and from bookings: $50 and public transit

These estimations are calculated on what I expect to spend in each city with airfare, commuting, and food. I have intentionally picked cities in which I have friends to save on hotels and will be wise with food choices, opting to make sandwiches for the road instead of expensive meals out! I would love to make a stop in Los Angeles, Salt Lake, and Seattle if funds permit. The biggest city tour is Denver, where I will be officially launching the book with an event of epic proportions! Your donation will help me take my story to universities, comedy clubs, and bookstores at these cities and open up new opportunities for me as I launch my career as an author!
