Hi there
My name is Nicki and I am 36 years old. I am currently in my 2nd year of my Children’s Nursing degree which I am studying at London Southbank University. I am hoping to raise enough money to get me to Zambia in 2020 for an elective placement. This is the chance of a lifetime to make a real difference to hundreds of children’s lives so I’m hoping you can all help me out .
We are very fortunate with our healthcare system and the NHS but in Zambia healthcare is not as accessible were some treatments and medications may not be available. This placement will give me the opportunity to observe their healthcare system and work alongside different medical professionals, assisting to care for children of all ages with conditions we might not see in the UK.
I feel this experience will be invaluable and incredibly eye opening in my journey to becoming a qualified children’s nurse
Obviously an opportunity like this doesn’t come without its cost. So I am appealing to you all to help me on my way to Zambia by donating as much or as little as you can so I can secure my place on this incredible experience. Even sharing my page would be a great help.
