Get Me Out Of This Frozen Wasteland

I know, I know, this is going to sound trivial to many but,  I feel trapped and nothing ventured nothing gained.

I'm getting old, too old for Northern Ontario winters.   Health issues have landed me on Canada Pension Plan Disability for the past 8 years and is less than lucrative.  Savings?  There are none left.

I'm facing yet another cold crappy increasingly depressing winter and I want out of here.  Definitely not the place for my aching bones and bad heart anymore.

I plan to sell my house,  pay off debt and relocate to a warmer climate but, the joint needs some TLC to make it reasonably marketable. 

Projects that were started and never finished, when I had employment,  need to be taken care of.  That  25 year old furnace needs DIY repairs every year and that roof, oh boy, I guess 25 year shingles really means 25 years....

Oh, I know, "it could always be worse" but, if you can relate and would like to help, please chip in whatever you can,  help me escape before I freeze (or just to get rid of me) !!
