<div>Hi, my name is Kel. I am currently homeless and living in a tent in Musgrave Park where I was violently attacked by a man I did not know, and have had to at this stage have 2 operations to repair my jaw that the offender snapped.

<div>After release from hospital, I’ve had to return to the same tent in the same park that I was attacked in.

<div>The services that I have approached have been unable to assist me with emergency/crisis accommodation due to run out of funding to offer crisis accommodation, or for whatever reason I don’t qualify for assistance.
</div>

<div>I have an application for Victims assist, and the offender has been caught and is waiting for his day in court. However the timeframe to wait for my application to be assessed for victims of crime could take weeks to get put through and I AM STRUGGLING!
</div>

<div>Due to the operations that were required to repair my jaw, I am on a strict PURÉED food diet! And in order to aid my recovery and healing process I need healthy nutritious meals that I can purée, and a safe and comfortable place to rest and recover and sleep!
</div>

<div>Due to my current situation, living in a park in a tent with no access to power, I’m unable to prepare or purée meals for myself, nor am I able to rest COMFORTABLY.
</div>

</div>
<div>Being in a public park, it’s noisy, and also unsafe. When I’m trying to rest, I’m being disturbed, and I am also not feeling safe sleeping in the tent, in the same place that I was attacked! And I am in INCREDIBLE PAIN.
</div>

<div>Any assistance I would be so grateful for, and would be used to book myself into accommodation where I can hide away from the world, rest and recover and HEAL!
</div>

<div>I desperately need SLEEP! And also a safe place where I can lock myself away from the world and focus on my recovery!
</div>

</div>
<div>I also need a blender so that I can purée food, because currently I’m basically living off yoghurts and custards, prepackaged and easy to store briefly in the tent! And although there are some incredible organisations that I can access for meals, it involves being around people, and a lot of walking which is draining and exhausting me, and I’m finding it very difficult to cope both PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY.

<div>I desperately require my own safe place to be able to recover from this traumatic experience, and to heal my physical injuries, so I would be forever grateful for any help that I receive!
</div>
