Hi y'all!

By some stroke of cosmic luck, I was recently accepted to attend the Lago Skiathos artist residency in Greece for their Spring term in May! This is such a huge honor and a privilege to have been selected out of so many talented individuals, and as this is my first residency ever, it is not lost on me just how truly special this is.

However, the opportunity is coinciding with my cross-country move to New York in April that I've been planning on for some time. Unfortunately, that means a lot of money for moving expenses and residency fees all at once, and currently all of my additional funds are being put towards my move. I was encouraged and urged by friends to consider starting a GFM and crowdfunding to help with some of the residency expenses, and after an incredible display of generosity by friends and folks to help cover the initial deposit, I've decided to set this up in hopes that I can make this dream really happen for me.

I've set the goal at $3000 to help with covering the remaining €1000 for the residency, the cost of plane tickets from New York to Athens to Skiathos (roughly $1000-1500), and any additional unexpected travel costs that may arise.

I sincerely appreciate all of the kindness and assistance that's been given to me so far, and I just can't say thank you enough to everyone who's already shown up for me to help with this goal. Thank you, thank you, thank you times a million.
