GET LOVED! Album - First Print Run

Hello there,

My name is Tim Hulsman and I'm an independent Alt Country Roots artist in Australia. 

I'm lucky to have a very talented team of passionate musicians and artists around me and together we have  just finished recording my third album...and it sounds fantastic! Everything I envisioned and more. 

I have already spent all of my available money on recording these songs professionally, in a great studio, with an awesome sound engineer, and now we just want to share these songs with as many people as possible. The whole team is as excited as I am about it.

I have been applying for grants from the Government, but though they say that their grants are to help emerging artists, after my last application was unsuccessful, they told me that if I'd "been of higher profile they would have been more inclined to help"...Hmmmm. To be fair I was asking for a lot of money, as it is very expensive to produce and release an album.  About $40K actually, to do it properly, at a high level.

So now it's up to me (and hopefully you), to raise the funds needed to reach each next little step towards making this dream come true.

To print 1000 copies of the album, GET LOVED!, with its double winged outer casing + 12 page booklet with lyrics etc, it will cost $2673. (Latest quote 27/5/16/)
I thought I'd round it up to $2700 because the other costs around getting it to that stage and picking up the boxes from Melbourne etc far exceed the $27 difference. I hope you don't mind.)
I'm hoping to raise these funds by June 30th, 2016.

This album project means so much to me because it represents the peak of my songwriting so far. It has benefitted immensely from the collaborative input of Craig Kelly on bass and Winston Galea on drums(Dutch Tilders Band, Kevin Buckingham Band), as well as guest appearances from great backing singers Sweet Felicia (Sweet Felicia & the Honey Tones), Nina Grant (Mantissa/Killing Time) and Kelly Auty.  Also adding to the sound pallet on selected songs are violinist Phil Smuthwaite (Hot Club Swing) and pedal steel player Neil Tilbury.

I truly believe that this is my breakthrough album.
