John Lex is in a battle of his life fighting cancer and we need your help to get him back in his truck!
Many of us know John and his endearing smile and positive attitude. If you don’t know him – when you learn about him - you’ll love John and everything he stands for.
John is a 30+ year professional truck driver, a front-line hero and an ambassador for the trucking industry. John has over 3 million accident free miles and has been teaching the public how to share the road with large trucks for decades. He talks with students and adults about the impact of distracted driving as well as trucking as a career option. He makes everyone he meets smile with his laughter, his abundance of joy and his passion.
A loving husband, father, son and son-in-law plus an incredible friend, John will do anything for anyone at anytime. He thinks of everyone else but himself and sees the good in everybody and everything. He is the “Selfie-King” with all his photos of family, friends and his trucking family.
It is now our time to help John and his family as he battles cancer. This past April John was diagnosed with colon cancer, with the scan showing a large mass in his intestine. He fought through rounds and rounds of chemo and was able to ring “the bell” this November. John kept his friends and many followers updated through video posts – many times from the cab of his truck or walking his dog Romie. John and his wife Sheri and their family celebrated the holidays like no other time.
Unfortunately last month John learned he once again has cancer. Check out his update video . Sheri is an incredible rock not just for John but for their family and friends. We urge you to help us raise funds for John and his family so they have one less thing to worry about and can focus on their journey. As John would say “Happy Trails” …. So let’s all make sure his trails are happy!
