Ali Koru is a Freshman at Purdue University. Last week, he was given terrible news. His father was diagnosed with a brain tumor that is putting pressure on his amygdala. This last week has been a heartbreaking and unimaginably difficult time for Ali and his family. Aside from being a student majoring in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, Ali is also pledging at Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Members of the Chi chapter of Kappa Sigma, as well as Ali’s pledge brothers, have decided to start this GoFundMe in hopes of sending Ali home, to Ankara, Turkey, over Spring Break. (March 10th through March 18th) Your donations will be used for plane tickets as well as any necessary transportation to and from the airport.
