Hello friends!
Our dearest Kelly has made the decision to travel to Thailand in October to undergo stem cell therapy at the well-regarded Unique Access clinic in Bangkok. The Longos are covering the cost of Kelly's month-long stay at the clinic; it is our goal here to help raise the money to get Kelly there and back. In order to ensure that our girl travels in maximum comfort, we're raising funds for one first-class ticket to Thailand. Estimated cost for the ticket is $6,000. Below is a further description of the upcoming journey in Kelly's own words.

Hey everyone - here's an update on my current status of "Operation, Get My Legs Working Again".
Over the past several months since my fall, I've been doing anything and everything to get my legs working. In addition to all of the therapies I have done thus far, and continue to do, I've decided that it's time for me to explore stem cell therapy.
I've done lots of research on different facilities around the world, including clinical trials here in the US and have concluded that my best bet is Unique Access in Bangkok. They use local fresh cord blood stem cells vs frozen ones like many other clinics. This guarantees a 95% viability. I could go into more detail, but this is the basic stuff people want to know.
I will be leaving Oct 14, arriving on the evening of Oct 15th and then check in for my therapy Monday Oct 16. I will spend 3 weeks there doing stem cell treatments as well as acupuncture, hyperbaric, magnetic therapy, massage etc along with regular PT & aquatic therapy. Plus, I will be in Thailand where the food is exceptional everywhere!!!
This is an expensive journey but I have to try it. Worse case scenario, it doesn't work & I spend 3 weeks getting lots of good PT. Best case scenario, this will kick start my legs so that they can heal properly, with all of the signals firing correctly through my brain & body. I figure it's better to try this option sooner than later so that I have the best chance of making a full recovery.
If anyone has any questions or tips, let me know!! I've been to Thailand before so I know how amazing it is!!! I will be staying in a top notch hospital but hopefully I'll get to indulge in a little exploring while I'm there.
Anyway, that's all for now!! Ps. I chose these dates so that I can see Depeche Mode right before I leave. Hugs & kisses to all of my peeps!! Love you all so much & so blessed to have everyone's love & support. I'm a very lucky girl for that.
