Get Kaeli to DC!!

Kaeli has been nominated to visit Washington, D.C. for 6 days to participate in the Jr. National Young Leaders Conference. This is a great honor, considering a nomination only comes through high academic achievement as well as a demonstration of great character. During this conference, she will get to learn about the aspects of leadership, as well as have a "Capitol Hill Experience", and be taught how social activism and the political process works. Kaeli is in her second year of participation with Model UN, and this experience would be of utmost interest to her as she blossoms into a young lady who not only cares about her country, but has a genuine interest in how to better the lives of her fellow Americans.

With all that said, this is not an inexpensive endeavor. We will do whatever is in our control to ensure that she is able to have this experience, but the cost of the program as well as airfare add up to a substantial amount that would be difficult for us to produce. I typically would never reach out for assistance, however I want to give our community of friends and family an opportunity to contribute and help ensure that Kaeli is able to continue her path to productive citizenship through this adventure.
