Hi, my name is Astha Dedakiya,
AND I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!
I am a 17-year-old from Gilbert, Arizona.
My hope is that you have heard about the emergency that is going on in India due to COVID-19! If you don't let me give you a brief overview of what has happened over the past few weeks. Because of the dire situation in India, they have completely run out of PPE kits, oxygen tanks, many people have little to no access to food, water, blankets, clothes, and many other essential items. With daily cases rising over 300,000 and thousands of deaths each day, India's healthcare system is on the brink of collapse.
Within the last to weeks I have been able to send 75 boxes to 7 cities and plan to reach a few more cities with the coming weeks!
The plan is to make packages/boxes with different essential items that I will send out to India, things including food, water, clothes, blankets, masks, women's hygiene items, etc.
These boxes are going to India's poorest states and the ones that need the most attention such as Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and many more!
With the original goal of $500, I have just crossed $2000!
