Heartless thieves made off with the £5,000 e-bike that Dr Ardern used to make house calls to sick and vulnerable patients in Arrochar, Argyll.
Dr Simon Arden saved up for years to buy the e-bike, which he also uses to take breaks from stress of the Covid-19 pandemic and the sudden death of his father.
The distinctive blue, lime green and black bike was stolen from the GP's locked shed in Alexandria 2 weeks ago and in spite of investigative work by police it has not been found.
