Get Dirk Up and Walking

My brother Dirk will be undergoing the first of two knee replacement surgeries in June.  Dirk has been on a waiting list for this operation for 13 months and finally, the time is nearly here.  My goal is to raise funds to assist with the cost of Dirk's related medical expenses and aftercare. 



Dirk resides in Tobago and has to travel to the sister isle, Trinidad, for both operations. The list of expenses include airfare, ambulance services, transportation, nursing, home care, physiotherapy, a walker/wheelchair, pharmaceutical and personal supplies during hospitalization and recovery.



Dirk always loved to swim, dance and go for long walks.  Now, Dirk's painful condition has him in a wheelchair.  It would mean the world to me to see Dirk walk again, pain free. To be self-sufficient and enjoy all the things again that make him happy.   My goal is to raise $5,000.00, please help make this happen.
