My name is Benedicte Schoyen and I am raising money for my friend and ballet student Dave Menken who lost his house in the fire in Topanga Canyon, January 2025. I met Dave at my studio in Santa Monica, almost 30 years ago. He has taken ballet with me ever since and we have become great friends over the years. The past five years he has been dancing with me on Zoom and now I am reaching out to our community to support him getting some new ballet slippers, gear and a ballet barre.
