<div>Carlos is a beloved local captain and proud panga owner from La Ribera, Baja California Sur, Mexico. If you’ve ever been out on the Sea of Cortez with him, you know his big smile, his laughter, and his deep love for the ocean. He’s one of those people who makes every trip memorable — not just for the fishing, but for the joy and heart he brings to everyone around him.

<div>Sadly, Carlos is now facing a devastating setback. Recently, thieves stole his boat from the marina and stripped it of nearly everything — including his Yamaha 225 outboard motor, most of the electronics, and essential fishing gear.

<div>This loss has left Carlos — and his longtime deckhand and friend Alberto — in serious financial hardship. The boat, Dos Amigos, isn’t just a vessel; it’s their livelihood and the way they provide for their families.

<div>Carlos is a hardworking, life-loving man from the Almanza family, a name known for generations of honest fishermen who’ve worked these waters for years. The sea is in his blood, and Dos Amigos is his dream.
