Raising some funds for a patient & family in need to help care for their 15-year-old Yorkie. I don't want to share too much to protect patient privacy, but due to unfortunate circumstances they are unable to provide appropriate housing or care for their dog right now, and we've hit dead ends with all other resources. The shelter that was going to help us out with another 10-day courtesy hold via animal control just backed out after only a few hours because they think he has heart failure and they are unable to care for him in this condition. I'm hoping to raise enough money to help get Capo the care he needs and help this struggling family during this difficult time. I have an amazing veterinarian who is willing to help get him checked out and determine if he just needs meds or potentially some comfort care, but could use a little crowdfunding to get it started!
