<div>In 2024, we helped remove the sitting Tory MP, Rehman Chishti, from office in Gillingham and Rainham by standing a cat for election. Yes, a CAT. We did this by micro-targeting voters and using clever canvassing to split the Tory vote. We also sent an important message to Labour that Brexit remains an issue for our children's futures. Early indications suggest that some stronger medicine is needed to break the silence on Brexit ...

<div>To this end, we have developed a book and e book to be sent to MPs, key influencers and the general public to Rejoin the EU. In the wake of the parliamentary debate on Rejoining the EU on March 24, there is an urgent need to fund 600 + books to be sent to MPs.  The longer  project requires support in terms of website management, online meeting overheads and ongoing travel expenses to events / meetings and presentations. We will next send the book to influencers and journalists and seek your help to manage the process. We are therefore extending this fundraiser to meet those ambitions.

<div>We begin from the starting point of £1948, raised across several years to fight Brexit and the 2024 General Election. I estimate that we need about an additional £5000 to run the campaign for one year until September 2025, hence the extended target for this campaign.

<div>We are also considering standing for election again in 2029 if Labour refuse to listen to the arguments about ending Brexit. This time we'll campaign across five years to eclipse our performance in 2024 and possibly win or at least split the vote.

<div>We beat two national parties in 2024 with relatively little effort, no campaign team and no marketing budget. Gaining 344 votes whilst also recommending that people voted Labour at two sets of hustings! Anecdotally, we estimate that this strategy may have given 300-500 more votes away to Labour. We campaigned solo over four weeks, but really only two weeks, as our leaflet only hit the streets 10 days before the election date. Had we campaigned over a much longer period, I believe we could have done much much better. By the way, 344 is a lot more than most independent candidates get, even nationally funded parties such as the SDP, Rejoin Party, Climate Party etc. And NO candidate recommends that people vote for other parties ! As a result however, we now have meetings in place with Labour to discuss an end to Brexit and other matters to Reboot Britain.
