Fly Bosnian dogs to new life in US

Three dogs saved from this shelter in Bosnia have a chance at a new life in the US with your help!
The story starts sadly but they can have a happy ending soon.
I first met the dogs here, in the Praca shelter:
Dark, dirty kennels with little protection from the elements and not enough food are where they spent their days.
I heard that their situation was going to go from bad to worse: the mayor said he wanted to, "clean up" the kennels and this meant killing the dogs. I will spare you the details.
Working with some wonderful local volunteers, I took the dogs from the shelter to a local kennel to be boarded... but sadly, they have been there ever since... 19 months! I have paid the boarding costs each month on my own, but need some help with this final endeavor to fly them to freedom.
Can you imagine looking at these sweet faces each month and telling them to hang on, it will just be a little longer? I think they stopped believing us.
They seem to have slowly started to give up hope that they will ever have a home of their own.
BUT...
That all changed recently! I have a chance to get them to the new, happy life they deserve with wonderful foster homes, and eventually their own forever loving homes. We just need help to pay for their travel costs.
Here is the breakdown of costs:
Transport from Sarajevo to Zagreb airport: $350 (100 euros/dog)
Airline-approved kennels: $450 (two large and one extra large)
Flight Zagreb to Paris: $350 (100 euros/dog)
Flight tickets Paris-Zagreb-Paris (for the people picking them up): $650
I'm using points to get a free rental car to bring them to my place in another town in France. They will be fostered by me for several weeks until it is time for their final flight to their new homes:
Flight Paris to California: $700 (200 euros/dog)
These dogs have been through so much. None of us knows what life on the streets was like for them pre-shelter. But we certainly know that life in Praca was hell on earth. The kennel keeping them for the past 19 months has been better, but of course they deserve so much more!
They deserve to know the love and comfort of a real home of their own.
Any donation you can make to help would be greatly appreciated. I very much look forward to keeping my promise to them: to help them live the lives they deserve.
