Get Andy to Starlight Express
A few weeks ago I got tweeted a picture of a heartwarming letter written by Andy. His mom Jenn used the social media platform to get in touch and now I’m using it to do something back.
Andy is a 12 year old boy trying to explore the world and himself. Andy is also born with autism so a few things are difficult for him which sometimes causes him to feel sad, alone and not understood. His mom Jenn told me that when Andy feels all these things he watches Youtube video’s of Starlight Express, sings the songs and reenacts the choreography. For Christmas Andy asked his mom if they could go to Bochum to watch the show for the first time in his life but unfortunately their budget doesn’t allow them to take a trip from the USA to Germany! This is where I kindly ask for your help. Andy’s birthday is on May 12th and I would love to give this kind and loving boy his belated christmas/early birthday present by gathering money through this GoFundme page so he can come and watch Starlight Express in Bochum LIVE! We figured we need about 2000 euro’s to make trip, tickets and stay in Bochum happening. I have been so touched by him and his mom Jenn and I want to make a difference. I hope you will too.
