Amelia needs her family close

Amelia Marquette Brotherton was born 7/5/17, at 31-weeks, 2-months before she was expected.  Allie, Tony and the girls were in the UP having some family time with the Brothertons when Allie's water broke.  Tony & his mom drove Allie to the nearest hospital 1-hour from their cottage.  They stabilized Allie and transfered her to Marquette General Hospital. Once in the hopital her placenta ruptured and they had to perform an emergency c-section.  Thankfully Allie made it through wonderfully but required a blood transfusion.  Amelia entered the world kicking, crying & healthy, but 9-weeks early! 
Today Amelia is almost 3-weeks old and is 9-hours away from her parents, family & friends.  Allie has held Amelia but Tony has not had the opportunity to hold his daughter.  Allie & Tony are faced with very hard decisions everyday as they have a 4 1/2-year old, 3-year old and 10-month old who need their parents. Tony is back to work following surgery the end of June to repair a torn tendon in his wrist and Allie is healing from the c-section. Allie & Tony have a lot family & friends in the White Lake/Wixom/Commerce area but Amelia is still in Marquette MI, 9-hours away. 
We have found a wonderful donation based organization that will bring Amelia from Marquette to Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor MI! Yes 30 minutes from her family to hold her & care for her until she is able to go home! The expense to transport her is more than we  expected and is not covered by their health insurance.  This organization will get her to Ann Arbor for less than 1/2 the cost of other companies offering this service.  With that we are humbly asking for any donation you are able to give to get Amelia to us, to hold her and let her feel the love her family has to give.
Being 9-hours from Amelia has been unbelievably hard, all while providing for Hannah, Sydney & Julia.  With your donation we will be able to bring Amelia to Ann Arbor on August 7th.
