TRANSPORTATION PROJECT FOR ANDY

Background:
I have very much enjoyed getting to know Andy since his release. He does not want to repeat his former life and is making life decisions that give him the best chance for the future. To that end, getting reliable transportation is critical to Andy’s future. We are his family, and while it is important for him to rebuild his life as much as possible on his own, we can certainly help him with his restart.
Here’s an idea:
Build a “Transportation Fund” that will purchase transportation for Andy. The funding will come from two sources: 1) Andy’s contribution to the fund and, 2) our Family’s matching contribution to the fund. When sufficient funds have been built, Andy will purchase the appropriate transportation that allows him to get and retain gainful employment.
Please understand:
Matching is entirely OPTIONAL.
The formula:
Andy contributes money to the “Transportation Fund”
Family determines a “matching contribution” to the Fund:
We will match ____% of Andy’s contribution.
Our maximum contribution is $ _____________
Your Signature _______________________
Example: Andy puts $100 in the fund during the week. David and Jan agree to match 50% of that contribution, or $50. Next week, Andy contributes $500. But David and Jan agree that the most they will contribute is $250; their week two contribution is $200.
Can You Help?:
Each week on Monday, I will send you Andy’s weekly contribution to the fund and request that you send your matching amount within 24 hours to this GoFundMe account. Andy will take your contribution and place it in the fund. I will manage the fund. When enough funds are accumulated, Andy will let me know and the funds will be released for the purchase of transportation.
If you can help, I would be grateful. There is no expectation that each family will contribute. Thanks for what you can do.
