Get a laptop for Willow!

Howdy folks,

Many of you will be aware that Willow Rose Wisp has devoted hours of their time daily for many months to the worthy cause of analysing and presenting local Covid-19 statistics to a keen audience. Some of you will also be aware that Willow has been doing all of this from a tablet, and has often had to rely on a couple of minions (myself, and Willow's lovely partner Matty) for some more techy things that are impossible on tablets.

With Bookface seemingly developing an allergy to Willow's productivity, Willow very ingeniously developed (with much toil) a rather snazzy newsletter format with which they can share their daily and weekly news digests and statistics without Bookface's immune system arcing up. The problem is that the new snazzy newsletter is also a bit tough to wrangle on a tablet.

Willow is a super talented and dedicated person with great aptitude for science, communication and statistics, despite only having some certificate qualifications in administration skills and none of the aforementioned hardcore things.

Unfortunately, Willow has also been unemployed for a decade due to an unwelcome chronic illness journey, but they have embarked on a great quest of self-rehabilitation and have accomplished so much that they are now confident enough to seek employment.

Upon highlighting Willow's current situation in the group we co-admin, many of you suggested that perhaps we could support Willow's efforts by starting a GoFundMe for a laptop. This would no doubt assist Willow with their quest for employment, as well as their ongoing volunteer work, being the driving force of the Western Australian Covid Collective.
