Help pay for Gertie’s vet bill

If you have met Gertie you would know she is the most loving, gentle, placid and friendly dog in the world.
Sadly some bogan pig hunting dogs with a owner who could not control them was on the beach with our old, kind Gertie just before Christmas.
Gertie was attacked and injured really really badly. As pigging dog do they grabbed her by the tail and almost ripped it off. Thankfully the vets were able to save it, but did say it was the worst injury they had ever seen from another dog. 
She is on the mend now... but the mounting vet bills are hurting us, and it looks very unlikely we will be able to hold the irresponsible dog owner accountable.
I guess we are asking if Gertie has ever brought you a bit of joy and you can spare a few bucks to help with her medical bills it would be really appriciated and rad.
