Geri E. Yellin scholarship foundation

My mom was born with a heart condition that made doctors believe that she wasn’t going to live past the first two weeks of being born, and if she was able to live past those two weeks that she could never have a normal life. My mother proved all of them wrong. She was thrown many different obstacles in her life and had two choices give up, or keep fighting. And that’s what she did every day of her life, she fought. This scholarship is awarded to a student who has been thrown life’s s crazy obstacles and still gets up everyday and they fight. People getting awarded for their sports or academic achievements but I don’t see many scholarships awarded to students for their character. With your help I hope to keep my mother’s legacy alive.
