My name is Jay Lundgren. I'm raising funds to cover my mom's medical bills. More specifically, her trips to the emergency room.

In september, she had a lot of stomach pain. When we brought her into the ER, the doctor's found an unknown mass. They believe she might have cancer. The surgery to treat this was postponed due to her covid-19 symptoms.

She began losing her mobility, speech, and comprehension starting on the last weekend of November. My family brought her to the ER on Monday where she was diagnosed with untreated diabetes. Our family was unaware that she had developed diabetes until then. She couldn't afford to do check ups, so she hadn't visited the doctor in years.

My mom remains in intensive care and remains mostly unaware of her surroundings.

Once she recovers and returns home, I plan to use any extra funds raised to buy insulin and cover her future surgery.

My father is the only one in our family currently working. Our financial situation is already difficult, especially since my parents went through bankruptcy. Because my parents have no savings to cover medical expenses, I hope to recieve community support.
