Help Georvonnie's Huge Heart

Georvonnie Payne was born prematurely with an arhythmatic heart, which came to light after a series of illnesses when she was 3 months old. She was diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White syndrome, as well as a dysplastic tricuspid valve and dialated cardiomyopathy. Since that point, she has regularly been connected to a heart monitor for weeks at a time to monitor her heart health. 

Georvonnie turned 8 years old on Wednesday, February 21. 

On Thursday, February 22, this very sweet little girl had just boarded the school bus home when she suddenly began seizing.

Two teachers rushed her inside and called for the paramedics, but her heart stopped beating before they arrived on scene. After 3 attempts with a defibrillator, they were able to shock her back to life, at which time she was rushed to Milwaukee Children's Hospital. She remained in a medically-induced coma for 2 days, stable but in critical condition.




Now  awake and conscious, Georvonnie awaits heart surgery to repair the extra holes and irregular valves in her heart. 



Her family has yet to receive their full medical bill, since they are as yet unsure how long Georvonnie will have to continue to stay in the hospital. Georvonnie is one of 8 children, and the child of two truly incredible, loving parents. 



Every cent is going directly to Georvonnie's medical bills, and her family is humbled and grateful for anything you can give.
