The Georgia House Rabbit Society (GHRS) is a 501(c)3 that was started in 1996 with a mission to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome abused, abandoned, and neglected domestic rabbits. Since founding, over 4,000 domestic rabbits have been saved.
Having had thousands of rabbits hop through the doors of GHRS, we are now at a point where it's time for us to expand so we can provide for even more rabbits.
Rabbits are companion animals, just like dogs and cats and with the help of so many bunny lovers, GHRS has made it this far. But now we need your help!
The GHRS shelter expansion would allow us to house more bunnies while they wait for their forever homes, expand the medical area for bunnies who require urgent care and allow us to gain more space for boarding for our community of bunny families.
Your donation will allow us to save more lives, and with Easter approaching, it is our goal to educate as many people as possible on the cons of purchasing bunnies purely as impulse buys for the holiday.
