Georgia Senate Runoff 2022

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 2022 Georgia Senate Runoff canvass- the election is over and we've raised enough to meet this year's expenses, so donations have been turned off. We'll post our 2022 impact report as a final update in early 2023.

In 2020, a diverse coalition of groups worked to elect senators Warnock and Ossoff in a very narrow runoff election. Flip Georgia was part of that successful coalition in bringing out-of-state activists and organizers to this election of national significance. The Flip team is a group of canvassers, street performers, musicians, artists, and political activists working to support Democratic candidates in swing states. Flip helps increase capacity for, and amplify the messaging of, Georgia-based democratic and voter education organizations. We fill in the gaps and perform critical and successful get out the vote actions other less nimble organizations can’t. In addition to the ground team, our experienced Air Team supports the project by wrangling logistics, fundraising, vote curing, translating materials, social media outreach, and more.

A win in Georgia can’t guarantee progress on reproductive rights, climate policy or accountability for election deniers- but a republican win will almost surely slow any potential progress. We’ve lived through 2 years of gridlock because of a 50/50 senate. We hope that investing our time, energy, and money in Warnock’s campaign could help us avoid another two years of pain and pointless politicking.

All funds raised go support our on-the-ground, in person, GOTV efforts- which are likely to be more effective at this point in the election cycle than running another tv ad or hiring another expensive political consultant. We are excited to be asking you to support this dynamic team which we think is one of our best chances to pull this off again.
