Georgia's Cancer Fund

During a physical on July 23, 2018, a lump was found in my right breast.  I was sent immediately to the hospital for a biopsy.  The results came back as Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer).  That started a whirlwind of Doctor appointments, Surgeon, Radiation Oncologist and Chemical Oncologist.  I had surgery on September 10, 2018, a Lumpectomy, to remove the cancerous tumor and have been off work for recovery.  Cancer still remains in my lymph nodes so in October I will be receiving chemo therapy once every 2 week for 8 weeks, then I will begin radiation treatments 5 days a week for 1 month following chemo.  This is all on top of a total hysterectomy that I had in January 2018 while I worked at another job.  This year has been a challenge with 2 different insurance companies and 2 deductibles to meet. 
This was a shock to me and my family and everything is moving so quickly but I will beat this Cancer!
