George's Secret Elves Projects

Dear Secret Elves,

George's Secret Elves (find us on facebook) was founded in 2011. It is a form of community service that allows big hearted people to work together on various projects to help within our community.  The Secret Elves were created to honor my father who was a community volunteer and passed away from cancer in 2011. You become an elf either by donating towards one of the 17 projects we do through out the year or volunteering to help put the bags together at an event.

Our special end of the year project is for the elves to shop for a wish list that helps feed 725 children in our area (Green Bay and Oconto) over the holiday break each year.  These children are normally provided 3 meals and a snack at school each day, but on holidays that is not available for them. We encourage our local neighbors and family to donate towards a food drive collection based on a wish list that is provided to them. In order to reach last years goal, we had to collect over 19,500 pieces of food and more items will be needed for this years goal. There are many kids on the list that we help and it continues to grow every year.  




Throughout the year we help create gifts for residents at the local Homeless Shelters, Local Veterans, Golden House Residents, Nursing home residents, and help to feed children in 9 different schools over the holiday.

The money raised will help to purchase items on the wish list throughout the year (food, materials, gift bags, etc) to allow the group to reach their goals in helping the community. So please check those couch cushions or extra coat pockets for some spare change because we can utilize it to help fill the needs in our community.
