REMEMBERING GEORGE

We are raising money to help pay for George’s funeral after his sudden death on March 11th at the young age of 61. George had no life insurance and this has left his life partner Suzanne faced with enormous financial stress, at the same time that she is in deep grief and shock.  Any amount that you can contribute will be a big help and greatly appreciated.

Here is an excerpt from the touching tribute that Suzanne posted on Facebook last week: "Sunday morning, just before 7am, I lost my partner, my friend, my support, I lost George. In a blink of an eye he was gone. It still doesn’t seem possible.... He will be missed by the people on our block, he loved and respected everyone. He loved living in Easton, he loved going to our favorite restaurants, he loved sitting outside at Pearly Bakers on a wam summer night watching the city life. He thought of my family as his own and thought the world of my grandson David. He saw a lot of himself in David.

There is so much more, his knowledge of war history, especially WWll and nazi Germany. His love for the Yankees. His knowledge of Studebaker cars, all things Studebaker, including Studie. He never had a dog before Studebaker, and it was really rough going the first few years because George didn’t understand dogs. But Saturday night George was telling Studie how much he loved him. Him and Studie shared a special bond.
