George's 2nd transplant
Donation protected
My dad, George Figarino has been through the ringer. In January he had a stem cell transplant to fight a rare type of leukemia called myelofibrosis. It turns your bone marrow into scar tissue. He had been doing well and for a short time was in remission.
Then the cancer came back. Many different treatments were tried and they all failed in curing his cancer. His transplant was deemed a failure. Now comes the hard part, he needs another transplant. This time my mom has to leave her job until March. My parents once again we are raising money to help with medical & living expenses.
My dad would give the shirt off his back to help someone. My parents have helped me so much, I just want to do the same.
