George Wasson Eagle Scout Project

Hello! I'm George Wasson and I'm a Scout with Troop 171 in Mooresville, NC.  I'm asking you today for your financial support for the first socially distanced Eagle Scout Service Project to benefit Broad Street UMC in Statesville, NC. I will be leading the construction of a gathering space with picnic tables and a fire ring at their Mission House.  This space will help the church take advantage of the great NC and hold more fellowship events outdoors. Broad Street UMC has been very important to my family for many years and I'd greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide. I will be using these funds to purchase materials and necessary supplies to complete the construction. Due to the current pandemic, I've had to move fundraising online to prevent breaking isolation, and we will not be holding traditional workdays. Instead, each volunteer family will complete a piece of the project separately and then deliver it to the site. Also, any funds that will not be spent in the construction of the project will be donated back to Broad Street UMC.
