Dearest family and friends,
Our beloved Father and Bompa, George Stephenson, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes on December 29, 2017.
Due to his sudden passing, arrangements were not in place to take care of funeral expenses.
George Stephenson's legacy is one of love, friendship and patriotism. He enjoyed life as both a father and grandfather. His 7 children and 12 grandchildren will forever remember him as a thoughtful, loving man. He was especially involved in his grandchildren's lives and each have special memories to remember their Bompa.
Through his work with Tyler Chamber Radio, he reached many people throughout the community. He enjoyed making new friends and interacting with the community that he loves so much. Above all, he believed in change and was helping pave the way for a better future.
In his more than 40 years of service as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he especially enjoyed his time as a seminary teacher and working with the church's youth. He served many positions throughout the years and remained a respected and dependable member.
