George Garbrick

George is a close family friend, 76 years old, taught at St. Anne's  school for 50 years.

Recently, George had an accident, fell in the shower and could not move.  He layed in the tub from a Sunday until Thursday afternoon.  George was found immobile, severely dehydrated and large wounds all along his body.  Unfortunately, because he was not able to move, and very weak, the tub was taken apart in order to get him out. He  spent  a week at LGH, where the main concern was to heal the large exposed wounds.  He was then moved to Manor Care Rehab, and has been there nearly a month.  There they have been helping him regain his strength, and to walk.

As many of you may already know, George has very limited finances and he  will need to make various important home improvements, mostly, replacing the tub and putting in a handicap accessible shower.  This is a costly expense, one George can not afford.  Other home renovations will be done, and all remaining money received past our goal amount, will go towards medical expenses not covered by insurance.

Many of you have asked if there is anything you can do to help.  Any little bit you are able to donate will help George greatly.  Thank you so much in advance for donation!!!
