NC500 Bike Ride For LooseHeadz

George, Pete, Rich (3 x slightly rotund 40+ blokes), supported by a car full of Rob, Lauren, Kate and Dave, will be riding 500-miles on their road bikes along the NC500 for the amazing foundation, LooseHeadz.
Yes, some of you may have noted, it was initially meant to be a 500-mile ride from Wilmslow in Cheshire to Paris, however, you’ve guessed it, COVID has caused that one to be placed firmly on the shelf for now.
With that said, all money raised to this point for the Wilmslow to Paris challenge will now be carried over to this epic Scottish venture, where we are now looking for your continued support and well wishes, as well as your generosity during what is still, a pretty crap time for everyone.
Has there ever been a more poignant time to #tacklethestigma, raise awareness for mental health and generally do something good for people in need? Well, the glandular gang think this is the perfect time!
George, many years ago, played rugby with LooseHeadz co-founders, Mark and Dave. He openly admits he has had his own mental health challenges, so everything that LooseHeadz stands for was very close to home. It has now come to pass that he, along with some of his very best mates, are about to embark on a journey that will not only test them all physically, perhaps more importantly it will test them even more so mentally.
Pete and Rich had no hesitation in hopping on board with George to help raise money for LooseHeadz. They now collectively go forth to try and conquer what will no doubt be the physical challenge of all their lives so far, in order to help perhaps even one life who’s mental health challenges far surpass any physical test - now that wouldn’t that be worthwhile?!
Please give whatever you can and also keep an eye out for us on social media – we’ll no doubt need your words of encouragement and positivity to get our portly posteriors over that finish line!”
