Sanctuary for Senior and Special Needs Dogs
Tax deductible
GENTLE PAWS Hospice & Sanctuary provides a home for senior and abused dogs with special needs to live in PEACE and LOVE.
Gentle Paws is a licensed non-profit located just outside of Chehalis, WA on an 10-acre farm which is currently the home to up to 15 dogs that live in unison with emus, ducks, rabbits and peacocks among other animals.
The dogs alone can go through almost 12 lbs of dog food....every day!
Alice founded Gentle Paws with her husband Andy to help provide for these animals out of their own pocket. This has recently been made more difficult with the passing of Andy in July of 2019; so Alice is especially grateful for any donations to help feed and provide a safe environment for all of her furry and feathered residents.
The majority of Alice's dogs also have medical requirements due to their age or special needs. These visits to the vet are necessary in order to provide a high quality of life for these dogs but the medical bills can quickly add up.
Last winter, Gentle Paws provided a friendly dog named Sunshine with new back feet as hers were taken from her by a previous owner.
You can watch a short documentary about Sunshine's story below to see a great example of how Gentle Paws can change these dogs' lives.
Please donate or share and help Gentle Paws give these dogs the lives they deserve.
