On July 14, 2017 I started experiencing chest pain at work. It had gotten so severe that I decided to go to the emergency room. Well after getting admitted, the doctors did a PT scan on me just to find out that I had blood clots in both my lungs and also developed pneumonia. I was then immediately put on a blood thinner (heparin) and antibiotic through an IV. After being in the hostipal for a week, I was released and prescribed Xarelto (bleed thinner) 15 mil, twice a day for 21 days. After taking this particular medication I began to bleed and thought it was just my body adjusting to the medication because that is a known side effect. On July 28th, I was out running errands with my mother and started hemmorrhaging and pasted out. My mother immediately called 911 and I was rushed to St. Joseph hospital. I was then admitted and received a Depo shot to control the excessive bleeding. I was given another CT scan and a MRI, the doctors were unable to determine where the underlying problem was coming from. They stated that this was a one in a million case and they'll need to do more studying regarding the matter. They said it could possibly be due to the Xarelto but unfortunately it had to be taken to prevent getting more blood clots. I was finally released after 6 days with hopes that the Depo shot would eliminate the bleeding. I returned back to work the following Monday after being out for almost a month without pay. I followed the doctor's instructions by continuing my medication and taking it easy but I noticed that I was still bleeding abnormally. On that following Wednesday after working a full shift I started feeling weak, when my mother picked me up from work she said I looked pale. Once again I was rushed to the hospital and they immediately put me on an IV for dehydration and also they did blood work to determine that my blood count was at 6.8. I was shortly rushed to ICU because my blood count continued to drop! The doctors required a blood transfusion due to low blood count and took me off Xarelto then did a reversal of that medication. Today, Ive been in the hospital for a week, still bleeding now the doctors are trying to figure out what's causing the bleeding. Unfortunately due to this circumstance I have not been able to work steady and my job is my only source of income. I'm a single mother of 5, and this has caused me to get behind not only on my bills but my kids school necessities as well. Not to mention when I'm released this time I'll be prescribed new medication that I'll have to pay for because my job doesn't off any medical insurance. It'll  be highly appreciated if any donations could be given as soon as possible to assist with my medical and personal expenses. Thank you for all your support it very appreciated.
