Help 13 Children Who Lost A Father

The Bogza children recently lost their father, Gennadiy, unexpectedly. Gennadiy was a respected member of the Brooklyn/Sellwood neighborhood in SE Portland and a treasured employee of our local business, Blaze Cone Company, for 11 years. Currently, all 13 children are under the age of 18 and attend Grout Elementary, Sellwood Middle School and Cleveland High School. Due to the loss of their father, who was the sole provider, the family is seeking ways to afford basic household costs such as water and electricity. As a community we are coming together to provide aid for this family and we need your support. Donate and help to share their story today!

Their household expenses - though very low due to their hard work - run up to $8,220 a year. We are working to raise enough money for them to be able to cover these costs for the next 17 years so that the Bogza children can focus on their education and not have to worry about financial concerns. We are asking for the bare minimum to help this family survive, please give!
When discussing the family, retired Grout Elementary school kindergarten teacher, Bob, who taught five of the Bogza children described Gennadiy as a father that instilled the values of hard work and determination in his children. He worked hard to ensure that they would have the education they needed to succeed. Bob described Gennadiy as a father that sought out every means necessary for the betterment of his children’s education. By donating you will enable the children to continue to focus on their educational goals.
