Gene’s Journey

8 years ago my dad got his world turned completely around. He went from a guy who went from working from sun up to sun down to a guy who can barely get out of bed. From doctors to doctors, still no answer. Finally we came across a holistic doctor in Boulder who did extensive work to find out he has mold poisoning. However with his hands tied on how much he can do & with so many parts of my dads story being so complicated & confusing my dad’s body seems to still be so complex that we can’t understand the things it does. As the pain continued so did the frustration. This weekend my dad was fed up. Fed up with the pain, the no answers as to why, and the medicine that didn’t seem to help. Finally after what seems like forever, my dad is getting his shot at some answers.  Today (Saturday) he is getting taken by ambulance to Omaha Med Center, to get a better understanding for the reasoning for all his pain and to help him. My dad is a man who never asks for anything, especially during times like these and is always thinking of others. My brother, mom, and I wanted to raise money for my dad and his journey of finding answers at Omaha and help him see all the support & love he has from so many people along this hard battle he is fighting. So please help us along Gene’s journeys in putting faith that God will help us get the much needed answers we yearn for and to put an end to his pain.
