Gene’s eye vs. Keratoconus
Donation protected
Hola! I’m opening this GoFundme account to help raise money for a procedure that I need to get done to prevent me from losing most of my vision. I do have insurance but unfortunately it does not cover Corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL). The cost for this procedure is $6000 + medication (eye drops). (Per eye)
After a couple of years of having problems with eye vision and visiting different doctors’ opinions, Gene decided to visit a cornea specialist. He found keratoconus in both eyes, but more advanced on the left eye. Keratoconus is a progressive eye disease in which the normally round cornea thins and begins to bulge into a cone-like shape.
It would mean a lot to me and my family if you checked it out and considered donating or sharing it on your Facebook timeline and network! Even a $5 donation will help us get closer to our goal.
Thanks again for considering.
besitos,
Gene!
